“When we first moved to South Carolina, my husband took a significant pay. Things were tight but we were doing okay. Even before moving here we were not tithing. A few months went by and our pastor spoke on what tithing looks like in the New Covenant. My husband and I felt convicted and decided we were going to start tithing! Noah's next paycheck we felt hesitant because we couldn't tithe and pay our bills. Noah called a friend of ours in the church and chatted about what to do and the importance of giving to the Lord. We discussed and decided that we were going to tithe. We had already felt convicted and wanted to be faithful to the Lord! So we gave in faith. Within the hour the Lord blessed us with more than we needed to get by. Paise God! Since then, as soon as payments are deposited we tithe. Noah says- “If you think you can’t afford to tithe, you really can’t afford to not tithe.” Giving that small 10% to the Lord is so important. He asks for so little from us, and gives back over 100%. Since the first time we tithed till now, anytime I feel worry or doubt start to creep in, I think about that situation and remember how the Lord was so good and took care of us. Everytime he remains faithful. Soon after we started tithing, Pastor Paul gave a word to Noah at a prayer night. Basically saying there is going to be an increase & promotions that just keep coming. God is good y’all! Not long after that word, Noah got a raise and promotion. A few months later another one and then another. I think it’s been four times all within two years and is looking at another possible promotion at the end of this year! Believing it’s his and that this opportunity glorifies the Lord! I also want to share that it’s so good to be apart of a community that loves and serves the Lord. By our pastor being faithful, and giving that word we have been so blessed.”
